Profound is an Amsterdam based heavy rock band that has been founded in 2001. Besides being a regular performer on club-circuit stages, they toured in Eastern Europe as well and made a name for themselves as an entertaining festival band. Off the stage they worked on their debut album ‘Deep and Sincere’, which has been released in 2003. This concept album contains some high-class impertinence metal with a slight progressive undertone that has been compared with the greatest bands in its genre.
